PhpMyadmin access denied issue in cPanel


What is PHPmyadmin?
 
It is one of the most common applications for the supervision of MySQL databases.you can use this device to maintain the databases of website extensions.we are provide these customers to manage their databases worked on their websites.

PhpMyAdmin is an easy tool composed in PHP that presents us with an interface to run with MySQL databases. Within this application, we can create, modify, and delete records, as well as import and export tables from the MySQL database. You can also run MySQL queries, optimize and repair the database, and various further tasks.

Access Denied issue:

while trying to run a query on my databases getting the following error:

"#1045 - Access denied for user '[My username]'@'localhost' (using password: YES)".




In the shared hosting account, we do not have entrance to update any settings within phpMyAdmin. That is because, on a shared server, these changes you would make would affect all other users on the shared server.

Solution:

To solve this problem you need to correct the HOST, Username and password in your configuration and make sure that the corresponding to the information given in MySQL server.

If the issue persist, You can refer the below given process to resolve it.
 
Navigated to phpMyAdmin folder, and edited the file "config.inc.php"

    Looked for the line: $cfg['Servers'][$i]['password'] = '';

    Added a password.

    Reverted "config.inc.php" to the old state.
