I’m in the middle of trying to set up a move from my tiny apartment in Newark to a bigger place across town, and honestly, I’m losing it. Last time I had friends help me, but this time I’ve got furniture that actually matters, like a new couch and my grandmother’s dresser. I started calling around to different companies, and half of them either didn’t pick up or gave me vague answers about pricing. One guy said “around 500” and when I asked what that included, he literally said “we’ll see when we get there.” That’s the kind of stuff that makes me want to throw my phone across the room.
