First, let's talk Clock Management. The clock in Retro Bowl is a weapon. When you're ahead, short, safe passes are your best friend. A 5-yard curl route that keeps the clock running is more valuable than a risky 40-yard bomb that could result in an interception or an incompletion that stops the clock. Learn to "audible" mentally by throwing to your check-down running back to chew up seconds and bleed the opponent's timeouts. Conversely, when behind, you must know how to use the sidelines. Throwing out of bounds is a strategic choice, not a failed play.

Next, Roster Construction. You have a limited number of roster spots and a salary cap. Every player must have a purpose. A five-star QB is essential, but what about the rest?
