The other night I tried a random site to save a clip, and right after that my browser started throwing weird pop-ups. It made me think — how safe are these online downloaders in general? Do they actually put your personal data at risk, or is it just about annoying ads? I’m fine with using them for convenience, but I don’t want to end up compromising my phone or account just for one video.
