How to Add an Email to Addon Domain
By using the Addon domain with a web hosting account will require that you will be required to configure the DNS of the domain for pointing towards the HostingRaja servers. Once the DNS has been configured, you will be able add the email address and you even carry out many other different tasks.
You need to click on your shared hosting tab.
Then you need to click on the domain for which you would like to add the addon domain.
Now you need to click on the “Addon Domain” tab.
Clicking on “Create New Addon Domain”
Now you have to enter the following information in boxes that is provided:
You need to add the full name of the addon domain that you would like to create in web hosting.
Then the directory information where you would store the data for the addon domain.
Then you need to add the FTP username and the password.
Here the main domain on the account will be having the files which is stored in the public_html. It is being suggested in placing the files for the addon domain in the folder named after the addondomain and not in the public_html/addondomain and in keeping the add on the domain files which is separate from the main domain. This will then be creating the home directory of the account where you will be finding the folder like the public_html and others.
Configuring the DNS of the Addon Domain for pointing towards the HostingRaja Servers
Once you have created the addon domain in the shared hosting tab, one must be able to configure the domain name servers for pointing towards the HostingRaja servers. If you are not able in configuring the domain, then you will be able to get the error as shown:
Here you need to contact the registrar and then you can ask them in pointing it to the following nameservers:
Nameserver 1: dns1:hostingraja.in
Nameserver 2: dns2:hostingraja.in
Creation of Email Address for the Addon Domain
Once the nameservers have been configured or if you have purchased the domain, you will be able to add the email to the addon domain name.
You need to navigate to the domain tab.
Now you have to select the addon domain for which you would like to create the email address.
Now you have to click on the “email” tab.
You can use this email page for adding and purchase of more email addresses.
