How to change the SSH Port of your Cloud?

SSH was designed and created to provide the best security when accessing the cloud server remotely. It Not only encrypt the session, but  also provides better authentication facilities, as well as features like secure file transfer, X session forwarding, port forwarding and more so that you can increase the security of other protocols.

The version of SSH that you will be able to see on our cloud server  is nothing but OpenSSH. If you are using windows machine then you need to download the putty.

Once putty gets installed you can access the cloud server by mentioning proper hostname and port number. By default port number will be set to 22 ,next you need to enter the username as root and appropriate password.

Now it will take you to your server access and you will be able to perform any task under the cloud server.

But it is better to have a difficult port number other than 22. So changing the default SSH port will stop many automated attacks and a bit harder to guess which port SSH is accessible from.
